Parting gifts
I got two gifts today.
One was a carefully hand-crafted plate, fired, glazed and painted with a profound message in beautifully written kanji complete with display stand by my teacher.
The second was a tub of vanilla ice cream from Lawson's.
I know which non-heavy present warmed my cockles...I'm so ungrateful.

I can't get the image of your deliberate bouncing out of my head ("deliberate" as in non-frenzied, not "deliberate" as in intentional...what can I say, you're a purposeful bouncer). I even tried to explain the image to Miles and got a blank stare and a cocked (bleached) eyebrow. Ah, lost in translation...
