By 10.30am...

I had already had a two-hour conference call; paid the handyman, who I had neglected to pay yesterday for putting up our blind; received a furniture delivery; and been told that I wouldn't be paid on Friday.

Fortunately, my boss waded in and kicked some ass so I will get paid on Friday after all. Thank God.

Just three more sleeps until payday...
