cb2 and China town and taka taka

The doormen in our building must think I'm a lady of leisure because every day i leave the place for a few hours and come back armed with bags. Yesterday was China town. I was going for the express purpose of trying the best congee in town,  but by the time I'd gotten there,  I was too hot do had chopped duck on rice. Still, it was worth the trip as i was able tobuy lots of cheap spices and coconut milk that doesn't cost £2.50 a can.

Then an epic shopping trip to cb2 where we spent even more money than in Ikea. we rounded off the day by going for Mexican Japanese fusion at taka taka. Some of it worked,  some didn't. The best was the plantain and cream cheese deep fried croquette. Delicious. I don't have a picture of that because we are it too quickly but here's some cheesy sushi.
