strange day

the last few days have been better than the first ten. first thing this morning we went to our me place to measure up for furniture and was back in my studio again by 945 to start work. way later than I've been used to so that's a little odd. felt super excited; the sun was streaming in through the windows, the view was spectacular and the kitchen is a vast improvement compared to what we have now.

then I came home and saw an email from my uncle, which made me shed a few tears. it made me realise that we must be far away as we never email, just pick up the phone. it was also good to hear that there are people reading my blog so that we know it's not just the two of us here. things will definitely get better soon.
